Tech Mahindra and ServiceNow have expanded their multi-year partnership to help enterprises move AI initiatives from pilots into production-scale deployments.
The companies will combine Tech Mahindra’s consulting, engineering, transformation and implementation services with the ServiceNow AI Platform. Their initial focus includes manufacturing, telecommunications, banking and financial services, media, and technology organizations.
Tech Mahindra said it will establish an AI and Innovation Center of Excellence within its ServiceNow practice. The group will support deployments of ServiceNow AI Control Tower and EmployeeWorks, while also helping customers develop transformation roadmaps, governance frameworks and approaches for measuring business outcomes.
A key part of the partnership is a “Client Zero” model. Tech Mahindra and the Mahindra & Mahindra Group will serve as enterprise environments for validating ServiceNow-based AI models before the approaches are extended to customers.
Tech Mahindra said its own ServiceNow deployment unifies global IT operations and manages more than 100,000 cases each month across 90 countries. That internal deployment gives the companies a reference point for testing AI capabilities in established service-management workflows.
“Enterprises are entering a new phase of AI adoption where the priority is no longer experimentation, but trusted execution at scale,” Mohit Joshi, Tech Mahindra’s chief executive officer and managing director, said in the release.
The announcement is focused less on a new AI model than on the operational work required to deploy AI across enterprise systems. For organizations moving beyond isolated pilots, governance, workflow integration and measurable service outcomes are likely to determine whether AI programs reach production.
