Oracle is expanding its AI Agent Studio with a new AI-native builder experience designed to help organizations develop and deploy agentic applications directly inside Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications.
The new capabilities combine no-code, low-code, and professional development tools into a single environment, allowing business users, developers, and partners to create AI-powered applications that operate within Oracle’s enterprise software ecosystem rather than as standalone automation tools.
The announcement reflects Oracle’s continued push to embed AI deeper into enterprise workflows by enabling organizations to build applications that not only generate insights but also execute business processes while adhering to existing security, governance, and compliance policies.
Oracle Introduces Fusion Agentic Applications
At the center of the announcement is a new category of software Oracle calls Fusion Agentic Applications.
Unlike standalone AI assistants or copilots, these applications are designed to operate natively within Oracle Fusion Applications, allowing AI agents to interact directly with business objects, workflows, approvals and enterprise policies already in place.
According to Oracle, the approach helps organizations move AI projects from experimentation into production without building separate infrastructure for identity management, governance, security, or audit trails.
Unified Builder Supports Business Users and Developers
The updated Oracle AI Agent Studio brings together multiple development approaches within a single platform.
Business users can create applications using natural language through a no-code interface, while developers can work with familiar programming tools, including Visual Studio Code, Git repositories, command-line interfaces and AI coding assistants such as OpenAI Codex and Claude Code.
Oracle said the platform supports the full application lifecycle by combining development, testing, validation, and deployment inside the same enterprise environment.
The company also plans to provide a public GitHub repository containing templates, sample projects, and reusable assets intended to accelerate enterprise AI development.
Focus on Enterprise Governance
One of Oracle’s primary objectives is addressing the governance challenges organizations often encounter when deploying AI applications.
Because Fusion Agentic Applications execute inside Oracle Fusion Applications, they inherit existing security controls, approval workflows, audit logging, and access policies rather than requiring organizations to recreate those capabilities externally.
Oracle also announced an expansion of its AI Agent Marketplace, which will include reusable agentic applications alongside AI agents, workflows and connectors that organizations can integrate into existing business processes.
AI Development Continues to Evolve
The latest release reflects a broader shift across the enterprise software industry as vendors move beyond AI copilots toward autonomous applications capable of completing business tasks with limited human intervention.
Oracle says organizations can use the platform to build applications supporting functions such as finance, supply chain operations, workforce management, customer service, and collections while maintaining enterprise oversight and compliance.
The company also noted that Oracle AI Agent Studio now supports more than 1,000 AI agents available through Fusion Applications and is backed by a growing ecosystem of trained developers and implementation partners.
