New Auditoria.AI Platform Brings Governance to Finance AI

Auditoria.AI today announced Governed Autonomy, a new operating framework that helps enterprise finance teams deploy autonomous AI agents while maintaining controls around policy, identity, authority, and auditability.

Governed Autonomy was announced ahead of the 2026 Gartner CFO Symposium. Autonomous finance has become a major topic of discussion in recent years as CFOs consider how best to safely deploy AI agents across accounts payable, accounts receivable, planning, and controllership.

The company says that as enterprise AI becomes more common in finance, the main challenge has shifted. It is no longer if AI can automate work. It’s how autonomous agents can operate inside financial systems without introducing unintended compliance, governance, or operational risk.

How Governed Autonomy Works

Governed Autonomy moves human oversight upstream. Humans won’t need to approve every transaction. Instead, teams can build policies that define agent behavior. Teams dictate when agents can act, how their authority is enforced, and how actions are logged for auditing.

“What we have found is that autonomy without governance creates risk. Governance without autonomy creates friction,” said Rohit Gupta, CEO and co-founder of Auditoria. AI.

Governed Autonomy is available across Auditoria’s platform of agentic finance tools, which includes AP, AR, and FP&A processes. The framework is compatible with finance technology environments that use Workday, Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, Coupa, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, ServiceNow, and other software.

Auditoria says this is critical because finance work rarely occurs inside a single platform. Processing invoices, communicating with vendors and approvers, reporting, planning, and more often require tools beyond one system of record. That can make governance difficult.

Auditoria’s Governed Autonomy capabilities include identity-bound execution, runtime authorization decisions, entitlement enforcement, configurable rule logic, and controller-grade audit logging. Every action agents take is bound to enterprise identity and governed by rules set by finance teams.

Built for Enterprise Finance Governance

Auditoria.AI also announced product updates to its accounts payable applications. AP Helpdesk features better insight and classification into communications across vendors and finance teams. AP Invoices includes policy logic that teams can configure for automation, routing, charge coding, exceptions, and more.

The company says these updates allow teams to automate more complex workflows without sacrificing transparency or control.

The framework can interoperate with emerging enterprise AI governance and management systems, including Workday’s Agent System of Record, ServiceNow AI Control Tower, Microsoft governance services, OpenAI governance, and more. Auditoria was recently certified in Workday’s Agent System of Record.

Governed Autonomy is now available on Auditoria’s platform, including AP Helpdesk, AP Invoices, SmartResearch, and broader Finance AI workflows.
