Tutti opens early access to a shared workspace for local coding agents

Tutti has opened early access to Tutti VM, a collaboration environment designed to let multiple people work with local coding agents in a shared cloud workspace while keeping the agents’ identities and subscriptions on their owners’ machines.

The company says Tutti VM currently supports Claude Code and Codex. In a shared “Room,” participants can work in parallel, view changes and outputs as they occur, and share local web applications through a link. The service uses a bring-your-own-subscription model during early access; seat-based plans are planned later.

Tutti separates identity, execution and sharing across local devices, a virtualization layer and the cloud workspace. It says login sessions, API keys, SSH keys and corporate single sign-on credentials remain on the user’s local machine. Agent process calls and file operations are intercepted in a managed Linux environment and directed to the physical machine, virtual machine or cloud as appropriate, according to the release.

A central technical claim is filesystem-level collaboration. Tutti says the approach is meant to handle conflicts between concurrent agent-driven file operations, including cases in which people or agents change the same file. That could be relevant to platform engineering teams trying to coordinate AI-assisted development work across individual local environments without moving credentials and development setups to a central cloud service.

The release also describes context handoffs that allow one collaborator’s agent session, file or output to be referenced by another participant. It says users can authorize a collaborator to use their agent and later revoke that permission.

The product is invite-only during early access. Tutti said it plans to offer an SDK and private enterprise deployment, but did not provide availability dates or technical documentation for those options.
